The school board is in the process individually of reviewing board policy and state requirements to begin the superintendent search process. I expect in early February they will discuss it and begin to proceed. One item required by statute is a screening committee which is required to be composed of 2 teachers elected by teachers, 1 board member, 1 principal elected by the principals, 1 parent elected by the presidents of the parent-teacher organizations, and 1 classified employee elected by the classified employees.
